Saint Street

Saint Street was the first significant album project by James Henderson. It was recorded out of Laguna Beach California in the nearby Stage One Studios in Laguna Hills. James Henderson & Troy Groenke chose the Stage One studios in Laguna Hills for some good reasons. James’s drummer friend Greg Lehmann who he had met in college is from the local nearby area there. And, in the greater Southern California area Stage One Studios was the only recording studio that was already equipped with a MESA Engineering brand amplifier available for James to use. So after making all the arrangements James & Troy travelled from the Twin Cities of Minnesota to record in sunny Southern California.

James Henderson enjoys playing guitar on Martin brand acoustic guitars & through Gibson/ PRS electric guitars- through MESA Engineering amplifiers. So, it was a rather convenient fit that the nearest recording studio to the chosen drummer was also well equipped. (James also likes to play his acoustic guitars through his custom Humphrey brand acoustic amplifier.)
